CONVOCATION DETAILS

Spring 2024 graduates will be invited to Lakehead University's 59th Convocation ceremonies this spring.

Lakehead Thunder Bay:

- May 30, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium
- May 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium
- May 31, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium

Lakehead Orillia:- June 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT at Rotary Place

The schedule for faculty ceremonies will be posted on the Convocation website at www.lakeheadu.ca/convocation.

REGALIA ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

Please make sure you have a credit card, student ID, and the name of your degree ceremony time on hand before beginning.

Please use your university assigned e-mail address. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your confirmation email if you use anything other than a valid Lakehead University email address.

REGALIA PRICES

Online Rental Fee: $50.00 + HST

On Site Rental Fee: $100.00 FLAT FEE
(Package includes Rental Gown, Rental Hood, Souvenir Cap & Tassel)

REGALIA ORDER CONFIRMATION

You will receive two emails once your rental is complete.

1) The first will be from Gaspard this contains payment information. If you have used a credit card other than your own, it will show on this confirmation.

2) The second email will be from Build A Grad. This email order confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your order.

This confirmation number is REQUIRED to collect your Academic Dress for the convocation, please be sure to write it down, print these forms or bring them on your mobile device.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations for refund must be received BEFORE May 16, 2024 at 5:30pm EST. Refunds will not be accepted after this date.

REGALIA PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS

Thunder Bay Campus:

Pick-Up: Please arrive 90 minutes prior to the start time of your ceremony. You will need to pick up your regalia under the Big White Tent at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. You will need your Order Confirmation when picking up your regalia, please have this handy.

Drop-Off: Regalia must be returned to Gaspard up to a maximum of one hour after your convocation ceremony. Regalia will be returned to the Agora (Thunder Bay).

Orillia Campus:

Pick-Up: Please arrive 90 minutes prior to the start time of your ceremony. You will need to pick up your regalia from the Green Surface (Orillia). You will need your Order Confirmation when picking up your regalia, please have this handy.

Drop-Off: Regalia must be returned to Gaspard up to a maximum of one hour after your convocation ceremony. Regalia will be returned to the Orsi Family Learning Commons on Campus.

Please note, these locations are different from where you picked up your regalia!
